Oil and condition your leather when it apears dry or lighter in color. Leather will lose its natural oils as it gets used and will need to be rehydrated or it will begin to dry out, crack, and become stiff. Should I oil or condition my leather? If the leather is very dried out then it will need to first be oiled then conditioned to restore the leather. If the leather is periodically maintained and not in bad condition then you can condition the leather without having to use oil first. What are the ingredients in the Leather Conditioner? We believe in simple ingredients so you can rest assured that our products are all natural. Our Conditioner is made of US sourced cold pressed castor oil with vitamin E, beeswax, and shea butter. How often do I need to waterproof my leather? For the most water repellant surface reapply the Leather Waterproofer before each adventure. This will ensure the leather repels the water on the outside and keeps you warm and dry on the inside. How often should I clean my leather? Typically you would clean your leather before you apply oil or conditioner or if it is visibly dirty. Cleaning the leather too often will strip it of its natural oils and cause it to dry out.
